In today’s world it is not uncommon for a woman to dance to the beat of her own drum and be a trail blazer. Mindy A. Butler is no exception. She is a woman who wears many hats as she seeks to have an impact on everyone one she meets through both written and spoken words.
As a writer and author of Strengthening Your Innerman, Woman in the Mirror, and How to Pray Effectively Including the Lord’s Prayer, she has laid out a road map to finding great treasures within one’s self, and how to go deeper in God. To some people, making a difference and helping others is a seasonal thing. For Mindy it’s simply a lifestyle and way of living. She is strong advocate for community and youth initiatives. Her most recent project is The Butler Foundation. In honor of their mother, she and Everett, her brother, established the foundation. Initially, they are focusing on empowering others to know their worth. As the foundation grows, they will offer a variety of scholarships.
Mindy has been recognized both locally and nationally for her accomplishments. She has been in the National Geographic Magazine, the youngest female Recipient of the Martin Luther King Jr. Award from the Liberty Assoc. of Churches, and Recipient of US Army Medallion for Outstanding Leadership. She has also been in one foreign movie, several newspaper articles throughout her life, and has played the lead role in every play she been in since childhood. She has obtained a PhD in Biblical Studies, started an online stores with t-shirts, magnets and other items. She is currently taking bookings for 2018 and planning The Refreshing Conference for September.
